Kenya - iU Academy Opened!

On January 20th, 2020 iU Academy had its first class!

We’ve had an interesting time getting an after-school program running from across the globe. Thankfully, we have an amazing partner on the ground in Kenya. Nelly gets things done. She’s fighting a cold this week but she was too excited to let it get her down. We still have a lot of things to do to make sure things continue moving smoothly.

We have a team headed back to Kenya in March to help with iU Academy and to work with the parents of the students. We want to be integrated into our students lives and they into ours. The best way to know someone is to spend time with them.
