Backyard - Moonbeam Roof Update

We did it!

Dear Friends,

Because of you, we were able to provide the Athearns with a new roof! Thank you for partnering with us to bless Michelle and her little people. 

With your help, we've provided a community of helping hands and financial support to help this local family transition from fostering a group of four siblings to adopting them into their forever family.

Momma Michelle and her son Matt continue to provide a forever home for Evie, Declan, Wyatt and Daisy (aka her little people)!

A Quick Update

Michelle Athearn was successful in rescuing these four children from severe abuse about 4 years ago by becoming their foster care parent. She then fought for them and became their legal adoptive mom!

Everyone loves the “rescue” part of the story but the true story is the day to day grind of seeing these tiny hearts restored... it is plain exhausting and overwhelming. 

The damage that was inflicted on these tiny hearts and minds in unspeakable and shameful. 

I don’t want their little stories to be forgotten and I want to continue to bring attention to the need for us to support Michelle and Matt in their ongoing battle to see these young ones delivered and completely healed from the trauma of their past.  

Thank you for continuing to care and believe that these children deserve a loving, safe home!
